Do You Need To Sharpen The Nyx Jumbo Eye Pencil?

However, these jumbo pencils are not so easy to sharpen. Unfortunately, they tend to break easily because they are so soft.

How To Sharpen Nyx Jumbo Eye Pencil

It can be difficult to sharpen your NYX jumbo eye pencil.

Unfortunately, the pencil is known to mash up when used in a normal sharpener, which is the opposite of what you want.

If you don’t want to take that risk, then you can follow the steps below for the perfect pencil-sharpening method!

Follow these simple steps to sharpen your Nyx jumbo eye pencil perfectly:

  1. Collect all of the jumbo eye pencils that you want to sharpen. Look for the ones that are blunt and dull without a point.
  2. Next, wrap them together in a paper towel and put them in the freezer.
  3. Set a timer for around 15 minutes. If they feel cold, then you can move on to the next step.
  4. Pull out your sharpener. This should have a jumbo slot that is large enough to fit the eye pencils.
  5. Open up your eye pencil. If it feels cold or frozen, then you’re good to go! Simply place it into the slot.
  6. Turn the pencil a few times and take it out of the sharpener.
  7. If the pencil looks new and has a point, then it has been successfully sharpened, and you can repeat step 5 down with the other pencils. If not, repeat step 5 down for the current pencil until sharp.

Alternate Sharpening Method

If you don’t own a sharpener then there is another way to sharpen your Nyx jumbo eye pencil.

  1. Take the bottom tube of the jumbo pencil off and put it to one side.
  2. You will notice a lot of product in the bottom of the jumbo pencil. Take a glue stick and insert it into the open bottom of the jumbo pencil.
  3. Push the glue stick into the jumbo pencil. This will push the product upwards.
  4. Wait until there is enough product at the top of the jumbo pencil. Do not exceed this amount.
  5. Take the glue stick out of the jumbo pencil and put the bottom tube back on securely.
  6. Clean the glue stick and put it to one side, ready to be used again when necessary.
